Do you make art or crafts from reused, repurposed, recycled or upcycled materials? Would you like the opportunity to exhibit your creations and talk about them with like-minded folks?
Here’s your chance to show off your talent!
Bring 1-3 pieces of your work to the Hatch Pop-up, a one-day-only community art show on Saturday March 14, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The pop-up gallery will be in the activity room at the Savoy Rec Center, 402 Graham Drive, Savoy, Ill. The exhibition area is located adjacent to the gym, where the Hatch Art Fair takes place. Please note that this is not a place to sell your work, but please, bring your shop info, your business card, or your website info along!
All forms of reuse art/craft are welcome. Work will be displayed on tables, so please bring a tabletop easel or other display method for 2-D work if you don’t want your work exhibited flat on a table. You may bring business cards to place next to your work. (Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event; we reserve the right to refuse to display anything that may be considered offensive.)
You may drop off art at any point during the day, beginning at 9 a.m. Stick around and talk with others about your work, methods and materials. Or drop off your art and pick it up by 6 p.m. The room will be monitored for security. Please note that we will not be responsible for anything left at the venue after 6 p.m.
