Art Teachers’ Hatch Clatch: “Corks, Crafts, Connections”

Attention Area Art Teachers!

Here’s your chance to get together in a fun, informal format on a Saturday morning to make social, professional and crafty connections! This is NOT your grandmother’s (or grandfather’s) coffee clatch, BTW. While we WILL be serving coffee and continental breakfast, we’ll also have mimosas!

The event takes place from 10 a.m.- noon on Saturday, March 7, in The I.D.E.A. Store classroom, 28 E. Springfield Ave., Champaign, IL

We’ll start with some time to socialize, munch and sip. Next, The I.D.E.A Co-founder Carol Jo Morgan will present tips for making cold connections and ideas for creating make-and-take “trashy” jewelry that reuses waste materials from champagne and wine bottles: corks, “cages” and labels.

The Hatch Clatch is open to any/all art teachers, but advanced registration is required, along with a $5 fee, which can be paid online by registering at the link above.  You must be registered in advance and must be over 21 to register.
